Team practices and court bookings
Hi all
Please note that the club will make bookings for league matches, but any team practices are to be booked under personal accounts.
Please refrain from asking Jason to book courts under your league team name.

Justin

Hi all
IMPORTANT UPDATE
Due to the taxi strikes the work can only commence tomorrow.

Marking and Refereeing course – 11 June 9am
UPDATE: The venue for the marking and refereeing course this weekend is at Harlequins Defence.
Hi
Please see below from Northerns. This course is a MUST DO! It will open your eyes to the basics of marking and refereeing. There are still too many games where players mistakenly argue about the merits of a call, without knowing the actual rules.
Please get your team members to join and make a morning of it.
Let me know if you are keen.
“Good Afternoon
A marking and refereeing course will be presented on Saturday the 11th of June, starting at 09:00; the venue is yet to be confirmed. This course will be offered free of charge.
We would like there to be at least one representative from each club at this course. Please send me a list of attendees from your club by Friday the 3rd of June.
Regards

PSA world series finals – Tournament (for us) and finals (on TV) at the club – TIME UPDATE
Hi all
Just an update. The finals start at 5pm, not 7pm. So, we will play from 2 – 5 and then watch some squash!
Entrants:
Justin Bredenkamp
Musa Malinga
Rinus Wasserman
Theuns de Bruyn
Shahin Lalla
Wilhelm Human
Warren Chapman (To confirm)
Timothy Barnes
We are considering having a bit of a club social tournament and the viewing of the PSA world series finals at the club next Saturday (28 May).
The ladies finals are at 7 and the mens finals at 8.
So, we want to get everyone playing short 3 set games during the course of the afternoon with the final at 6, just before the 7pm ladies final. For a 16 person draw you will play 4 x 3 set (first to 11) matches (about 30 minutes per match). We’ll most likely start at 2pm.
It’s ultimately a fund raiser for the club, so R150 entry per person. A bring and braai to follow.
If you are interested please send me your details.
Once I have numbers I will send more info.
Regards,
Justin
